Here's the differences for me and why I will not buy any other coffee except for Island Brow. The first reason is the taste. I am a Firefighter and there is always coffee in the morning at the station. I always have to doctor the coffee up with cream and sugar because the taste of standard Folgers we use by itself is bitter and not appealing. Island Brow coffee is the first coffee I was able to drink without cream and sugar and enjoy it. Secondly and most important, the store bought coffee hurts my stomach especially when I have not eaten anything. Not with Island Brow. When talking to Island Brow's customer service, I learned it is the natural roasting process and the non use of chemicals that makes their coffee exceptional. For these reasons I have not bought any other coffee since.
